Tofu Sushi Rolls

Ingredients

(For 6 rolls)

Tofu: 300 g
Cooked rice: 500 g
Rice vinegar: 2 tbsp
Granulated sugar: 2 tsp
Nori sheets: 6 sheets
Cucumber: 1
Mayonnaise: 6 tbsp
Wasabi paste (optional)
Soy sauce
Pickled ginger

Instructions

  1. Make sushi rice (mix cooked rice with vinegar and sugar).

  2. Place a sheet of nori on a sushi mat(*) and spread a thin layer of sushi rice over it.

  3. Add wasabi (optional), mayonnaise, cucumber, and tofu in a line across the center.

  4. Using the sushi mat, roll it up tightly from the front.

  5. Cut the roll into 5–6 pieces with a wet knife. Serve with soy sauce and pickled ginger.
